Like a storm that washes away, a spectacular coloured chalk painting on the sidewalk erasing the fine lines and the etchings so divine-So too our found LOVE

When love came with you-regardless of any doubts, I stuck it out -the hard parts and the bits that didn’t quite fit — the joyful beginnings we embodied -fractured now -the middle too-like your disposition -I relished the journey with you thought you did too-solid and true-my love for you -magical you-laying the path with a paradise of dew-my love stayed -yesterday -yet you took all our tomorrows and yesterdays when you chose to leave because parts didn’t go your way the path yo paved with pretend cement-making our fire turn to the ice-woven fabric so carefully stitched with phony fabrications-buffers disguised as reasons, “this and that’ nonsense excuses- -so amusing — so grouse-like a cat who plays with a mouse for kicks-taking us both down a dead-end street-wow how sick-from skin to skin-tender and soft-now remote-no end yet-u very upbeat-can you not see the total neglect-and today it is no fun to play without you-and the soulful us-that we once embodied-is no more -instead a sad skeleton of sadness that sits in solace…….because you chose an iron glove……to replace our found love which you tossed to sea ……and we became a mockery …………
